The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires an FCC license for exclusive use of your own frequency for private, interference-free communications. Navigating the FCC requirements can be an overwhelming task. Our in-house frequency coordinators can help by handling all your FCC questions and requirements, including FCC licenses, renewals, construction notifications and license modifications.
FCC licensing is the law. Don’t risk channel interference or expensive fines – let Industrial handle all your filing and compliance!
In January 2013, the FCC implemented new requirements mandating all VHF and UHF licensees to make use of narrowband channels. To meet this requirement, many businesses had to purchase new radio equipment, while others had to simply upgrade their existing equipment. The FCC requires a license modification to show that your radio equipment is Narrowbanding compliant. The FCC enforces this requirement by not allowing you to renew your license and by potentially fining operators of noncompliant systems.
FCC licenses are typically valid for a period of 10 years. If you have an expiration coming up in the next few months let us know. We can work directly with the FCC to process your license renewal quickly and efficiently.
Did you get a letter notifying you of an upcoming FCC expiration on one of your licenses?
Several licensing companies send notifications like this several months before an application could even be processed by the FCC. If you receive a letter let us know and we can confirm your license status.
Industrial archives all the FCC filings we process for our customers and collaborates with customers to proactively renew licenses before they expire!
